An Ancient Temple from the Sui Dynasty—Guqing Temple

Early in the morning, under bright sunshine, Feizhou Group’s outstanding employees set off for Tiantai with great anticipation. The journey was filled with laughter and cheerful conversation, and everyone was in high spirits. Upon arriving in Tiantai, their first stop was the Guqing Scenic Area.

Guqing Temple has a history of over 1,400 years. Surrounded on all sides by mountains and embraced by five peaks, it offers a serene and tranquil setting. It houses a bronze statue of Shakyamuni from the Ming Dynasty, white marble stone lions from the Qing Dynasty, a thousand-year-old plum tree—the Sui Plum; a Yuan Dynasty arhat statue carved from nanmu wood; the “Goose Call” stele inscribed by Wang Xizhi; and the ancient Sui Dynasty pagoda—all radiate the splendor of the temple’s millennia-old history and cultural heritage.
