Low smoke halogen-free wires and cables produce very small amount of smoke under the condition of flame combustion, which releases gas without halogen and non-toxic. When fire occurs, it can greatly reduce the harm to instruments/equipment and human body, so it is widely used in high-rise buildings/hospitals, large libraries, stadiums, Disaster Prevention Command and dispatch buildings, stations and civil airports. Passenger waiting rooms, key cultural relics protection sites and subway, underground shopping malls or densely populated public places.
Our company develops and produces plastic insulated wires and cables with rated voltage of 35KV and below. Their performance not only meets the requirements of GB/T 12766-2008, GB/T 5023-2008 and GB/T 9330-2008, but also forms a series of flame-retardant, fire-resistant, especially low smoke and halogen-free properties, which meet the national standards GB/T 17650-1-2-1998 and GB/T 17651.1-2-1998. Product technical performance
1. The maximum operating temperature and the maximum short-circuited (no more than 5 seconds) temperature of the wire and cable conductor: 70°Cfor the low-smoke halogen-free PVC insulated cable, with the maximum short-circuited temperature no higher than 160°C; 90°Cfor the XLPE insulated cable, 80°Cfor the thermoplastic low-smoke halogen-free PO insulated cable, with the maximum short-circuited temperature no higher than 250°C; 105°Cand 125°Cfor the irradiated XLPE insulated cable, with the maximum short-circuited temperature no higher than 250°C.
2. The installation conditions and allowable continuous current-carrying capacity of the low-smoke halogen-free cable are the same as that of the non-low-smoke halogen-free cable.
3. The cable and wire have low-smoke, halogen-free, flame-retarding and fireproof properties when burning, with specific indicators as shown in the following figure.
